New electric Fiat 500E appears

Just before Fiat wants it, the brand new electric 500 ends up on the web.

Through the French Worldscoop, the world is introduced to the new Fiat 500E earlier than expected, presented here as a convertible. The biggest news is hidden under the skin, because the 500 is now (worldwide) available as an EV. Spy images already flapped that Fiat is stuck to the outgoing design for the most part. Yet the 500 has been substantially renewed all around. We said goodbye to the cute image. A slightly tougher coach is now making its appearance.

Take, for example, the headlights that shine a lot worse in the world. The differences (on these photos) are the least visible from behind. The rear lights now in any case consist of one whole with no painted sheet metal in between. The folding roof of this 500 C is printed with a Fiat pattern. A greater innovation step has been made inside. A large central touch screen adorns the dashboard with a quiet ensemble of two rows of buttons below. The selector lever for the automatic transmission disappears and makes place for loose buttons between the front seats.

Nothing has been announced about technical specifications. For that we have to be patient until the official disclosure later these days.
