Up to 700 kilometers electrically
Interested in an electric crossover from Peugeot, but do you think the e-2008 is too small? Then wait until September. The fully electric e-3008 will appear in that month.
At the beginning of this year, Peugeot released what it will be up to in the EV field in the coming years. Quite a bit, as it turned out. From 2025, it will deliver a fully electric version of each model and successors for the current 3008 and 5008 will be launched in the relatively short term. These new SUVs are no longer equipped with combustion engines and are therefore always electrically powered. Now we know when the new electric Peugeot e-3008 will appear.
In January, Peugeot already indicated that the introduction of the electric e-3008 was planned for the second half of this year. Now Peugeot says the e-3008 will appear in September. The Peugeot e-3008 and e-5008 are the first models within Stellantis to be placed on the new STLA Medium platform, specially developed for EVs. The Peugeot e-3008 will soon be available with three different electric powertrains, one of which has two electric motors and therefore four-wheel drive. Peugeot already speaks of a more than ample range of up to 700 WLTP kilometers.
