New Fiat Strada in the picture again

Fiat has released a new image of the all-new Strada, a compact pickup truck. This now also makes clear how the rear is designed.

Fiat do Brasil, the Brazilian branch of Fiat, chooses to introduce the new Strada step by step. The brand does not release the complete appearance of the new pick-up in one go, but sends out a new image of the car every few days. The rear of the car can be seen on this new image.

The rear of the new Strada also has strong similarities with that of the Toro, a pick-up with four doors that Fiat has already on the price list in Brazil, among others. The Strada gets rear lights that closely resemble those of its bigger brother, although they are a size smaller. Another notable difference relates to the tailgate itself. Where the Toro has two ‘doors’ providing access to the body, the new Strada will have a single hinged down flap with a handle centrally located above the large Fiat logo. Just like the Toro, the Strada in the photos has two doors on each side. Although the Strada is currently available with and without a longer cabin, the pick-up has never been available in this new form. Please note that there will be a version with a short cabin and only two doors.

In Brazil, for example, compact passenger car-based pickups are relatively popular. Volkswagen sells the Gol-based Saveiro and Renault has a Duster with an open body on the order list: the Oroch. This new Saveiro also appears to be available for the first time with two extra doors, as the concept car that looks ahead to the newcomer was equipped with four doors.
