Just again with V8

Now that there is so much to do around the electric Ford Mustang Mach-E, you would almost forget that the brand also sells a real Mustang. The current pony car was presented almost nine years ago and so it’s time for a new one. Now we also know when the new ‘Stang will arrive: mid-September.
Ford invites everyone and everyone to attend the presentation of the new seventh-generation Mustang in Detroit on September 14. The announcement of the arrival of the new ‘Stang goes hand in hand with a set of plates of a still camouflaged copy.
The fact that Ford also puts the Mustang name on an electric SUV, the Mustang Mach-E, has no consequences for the new Mustang. Ford’s youngest pony car will simply be a rear-wheel drive coupé or convertible with combustion engines. In fact, the ‘Stang will probably just get a V8 again. Probably that is again a 5.0, although there are rumors that the Mustang will be available with an even larger eight-cylinder. In addition, the Mustang will probably get the well-known 2.3 liter four-cylinder petrol engine with turbo. It is still unclear what Ford is planning for the new Mustang in terms of electrification. There is talk of a combination of a V8 and two electric motors that send an undoubtedly fierce amount of horsepower to the rear wheels. Should such a variant come, we would not be surprised if Ford only later adds it to the Mustang range. On to September 14.
