New Ford Ranger put to the test

New Ford Ranger put to the test

Ford is preparing the all-new Ranger for its debut, which is likely to take place in early 2022. The pick-up can now prove itself in Australia, one of the many countries where the Ranger is on the market.

It looks like Ford can’t wait to show us the new Ranger in all its glory. In September, the Americans shared two photos of the Ranger in action in rough terrain and early this month the Ford Ranger was shown in a concealed camouflage suit. Now we get the pick-up again on our screen, this time in Australia and in a colder place.

The Ranger no longer has any major surprises in store for us. At the back it is conventional, the biggest news is at the front. The new Ford Ranger gets a nose that is more reminiscent of that of its big brother F-150. In that respect, the Ranger becomes a bit more American. Yet this Ranger also becomes a real world citizen again. In addition to America and Australia, it will also be released in Europe again. Moreover, he gets a twin brother from Volkswagen, since the new Volkswagen Amarok is basically this Ford Ranger.

Ford says it has already ripped 10,000 miles through deserts with the new Ranger, with maximum payload on board. According to the brand, that equals 1.25 million ‘normal kilometers’. Anything to make it an indestructible thing. As said, the Ranger can make that happen next year with the happy first owners.
