Image shows how thin the iPhone 17 Air becomes
On social media, Twitter user Majin Bu recently shared an image in which the thickness of the iPhone 17 Air is compared with that of the iPhone 17 Pro. On this photo the iPhone 17 Air looks really very thin.
They are of course dummy models, but they do reflect the dimensions of the real devices. Compared to the iPhone 17 Pro, the iPhone 17 Air even seems almost half thinner. You can view the leaked image of the iPhone 17 Air and the iPhone 17 Pro below.
The thinnest iPhone so far
The new iPhone 17 Air is expected to be about 5.5 mm thick, while the iPhone 17 Pro will probably get a thickness of 8.725 mm. This is a slight increase compared to the iPhone 16 Pro that is 8.25 mm thick. The image shows how thin the new iPhone 17 Air will really be.
Rumors about the design
According to earlier rumors, the iPhone 17 Air has a single camera on the back and a microphone and LED flash on the right. These are all in an elongated camera island, which looks a lot like the beam at the back of Google Pixel-Phones.

Other rumors indicate that the iPhone 17 Air gets a 6.6-inch to 6.7-inch display, which means that the device will be larger than the iPhone 17 (6.3 inches) but smaller than the iPhone 17 Pro Max (6.9 inch). Whether these rumors are correct will continue to wait for a while. The iPhone 17 Air appears later this year and is the thinnest iPhone from Apple so far.
