New interior designer at Skoda

Skoda has appointed Peter Olah as the new head of its Interior Design team. Olah replaces Norbert Weber who had previously been at the helm of the interior department, who left for Audi a few months ago.

Peter Olah is the new design boss of Skoda’s interior division. As is often the case with a change of power, the new design guru is no stranger to his employer. Olah was completed in 2005 senior designer at Skoda and a year later left for the Volkswagen Group Design Center in Potsdam, where he took up the pencil for various brands of the Volkswagen Group. In 2007, Olah returned to Skoda’s headquarters in Mladá Boleslav, where he became responsible, among other things, for setting up a design strategy for Skoda’s interiors.

Much of his work as Head of Interior Design is therefore not new to Peter Olah. The new design boss will be responsible for the design of all Skoda interiors, but also develops the design of the interfaces of the infotainment systems, among other things. Olah can also count the composition of the paint colors, the interior fabrics and things such as finishing strips among his duties.
