MacRumors writes that the iPad Pro 2021 has a slightly thicker case than last year’s model. This has everything to do with the new screen type: mini-LED.
Rumor: iPad Pro 2021 case has grown
Has an anonymous source MacRumors whispered how big the new iPad Pro is. The tablet, which will most likely be made official during the Apple event tonight, is said to have a depth of 6.4 millimeters. That is 0.5 millimeters ‘thicker’ than the iPad Pro 2020.

According to the mysterious, but according to MacRumors reliable source, this is necessary to accommodate the new mini LED screen. The fresh iPad Pro seems to be switching from LCD to mini LED. This new screen technology excels, among other things, in showing contrasts.
The screen format would not be tinkered with. The source claims that Apple will unveil two iPad Pros tonight. The entry-level model is rumored to be 11 inches tall, the larger variant is said to measure 12.9 inches. These are the same screen sizes as the current iPad Pro.

We expect this from the new iPad Pro
The first Apple event of 2021 will take place tonight. We expect the company to announce the highly anticipated AirTag tracker and iPad Pro 2021 here, among other things. According to rumors, the best iPad of 2021 will have a similar design, but better hardware.
Apple would give the iPad Pro 2021 an A14X chip, which is based on the A14 processor of the iPhone 12. There are also rumors that the new Pro tablets will have a Thunderbolt connection. This allows you to pair the tablet with other Apple devices, such as monitors.
