New Jeep Grand Cherokee in the picture

The Jeep Grand Cherokee was given a new generation at the beginning of this year. At least in part. The new Jeep Grand Cherokee debuted as the extra long Grand Cherokee L. Today we also have the new regular Jeep Grand Cherokee.

The new Jeep Grand Cherokee was introduced to the American public as the Grand Cherokee L, a long version of the yet to be revealed regular new Grand Cherokee. The difference between the Grand Cherokee L and the Grand Cherokee is mainly in the length. With a length of 5.2 meters, the Grand Cherokee L is almost 40 centimeters longer than the outgoing ‘short’ Jeep Grand Cherokee. Thanks to its extra inches, the Grand Cherokee L has a third row of seats and space for seven occupants. For those who need two rows of seats, there will soon be a regular Jeep Grand Cherokee on the menu. That car has now been caught in camouflage trim.

The Jeep Grand Cherokee and its Grand Cherokee L brother are not only different in length. For example, the ‘short’ Grand Cherokee gets a muzzle with tougher designed bumper work. The lower cooling opening is a size larger than the one in front of the Grand Cherokee L and Jeep also seems to slightly reduce the degree of chrome use. In addition, the D-pillar of the Grand Cherokee is a lot flatter than that of the Grand Cherokee L.

Jeep Grand Cherokee (outgoing model)

The new Jeep Grand Cherokee will make its debut in a relatively short time. It is very likely that Jeep is simultaneously pulling the curtain on the 4xe flavors, the plug-in hybrid variants of the entire Grand Cherokee family. Read all about the new Jeep Grand Cherokee L.
