Classic profile
It is an important month for Mercedes-Benz, because in a few weeks it will present the brand new E-class. We already get the new Mercedes-Benz E-class and profile and that comes as no surprises.
It has already been spotted with very limited camouflage and we recently presented you with a digital representation of it, but on April 25 it is really time for the official unveiling of the Mercedes-Benz E-class. Mercedes-Benz shares that happy news, together with a shadowy photo of the new ‘E’ from the side. That photo, even if it’s rather dark, doesn’t hold any surprises. Not only because we have already had a clear picture of the new E-class, but also because it simply will not be an earth-shattering appearance. Put simply, the E-class will be a small S-class, although a grille spread over the nose may provide a somewhat EQE-like front.
The interior of the new Mercedes-Benz E-Class hardly holds any secrets for us, because the brand was kind enough to show it at the end of February. Here the E-class goes a bit of its own way, with the Superscreen. No panel with a screen in it protruding from the center, no Hyperscreen either, but a middle ground. In the motor field, we can expect a series of mild and plug-in hybrids. A sporty E 53 that partly works with electric power is also present and the new E 63 will appear later. We say goodbye to the E-class Coupé and Cabriolet; together with the C-class Coupé and Cabriolet, they find succession in one model: the ‘CLE’. The Mercedes-Benz E-class can immediately wet its chest for the brand new BMW 5 series, which will also appear this year.
