More distance to GLC

In the market for an electric SUV in the GLC segment? Then the Mercedes-Benz EQC may be an option, but be quick. The EQC is only available from stock, but don’t worry. There will be a completely new one and it is the new Mercedes-Benz EQC that can be seen clearly for the first time on these spy pictures.
After the electric variant (B250e) of the previous generation B-class, the Mercedes-Benz EQC was the second EV that the Stuttgart brand launched on the market. The EQC came on the market in 2019 and is currently only about four years old. Yet the electric SUV is already on its last legs. The EQC is only available from stock, but that certainly does not mean that Mercedes-Benz will no longer have a model on the menu in this class. There will be a completely new Mercedes-Benz EQC and it can be seen for the first time on these spy pictures.
The new Mercedes-Benz EQC next to the current GLC.
The outgoing EQC is visually very similar to the GLC with which it shares its basis, but has more than just a different front and rear. The new Mercedes-Benz EQC will also be much more than just a GLC with a fully electric powertrain. The electric EQC seems to have a slimmer silhouette than the GLC, clearly has a different window section, recessed door handles in the doors and of course a completely separate front and rear. The EQC naturally gets an EQ-signature muzzle that resembles that of cars such as the EQE SUV and EQS SUV more than that of the outgoing model.
Which technology is hiding under the EQC? That is still the question. Under this new EQC, we expect to see a different modular EV base than under cars like the EQE, EQE SUV, EQS and EQS SUV. The new EQC may already be on the MB.EA base that the Germans announced in July last year. Once on the market, the Mercedes-Benz EQC will face cars such as the new BMW iX3 and, of course, EVs such as the Tesla Model Y and Audi Q4 e-tron.
