More expensive and cheaper than Clio
The Mitsubishi Colt is back and is more Renault than ever. The Colt is actually a Clio to which Mitsubishi has poured its own mild sauce. The new Mitsubishi Colt was presented in the middle of this year and it is now known what it will cost.
The Mitsubishi Colt is available from €21,990 while the Clio has an entry price of €22,950. This is mainly because Mitsubishi also supplies the Colt with a turbo-free 1.0 and the entry-level Clio directly has a 1.0 with turbo. For just under 22 grand, the Mitsubishi dealer will give you the keys to a Mitsubishi Colt with a 65 hp 1.0 three-cylinder. This engine version always has a five-speed manual gearbox. The starting price applies to the basic Pure version.
Just like the Clio, the Mitsubishi Colt is also available with the 1.0 turbo engine that produces up to 90 hp. In the Colt, that machine is also always connected to a manual gearbox, but it is a six-speed one. It is available as Intense from €24,990, as a First Edition from €26,990 and as Instyle costs €28,490. The Clio with this engine is available as an Evolution from €22,950. That makes the Colt with this engine more expensive than the Clio, but still not. Mitsubishi’s Intense version is more generously equipped than Renault’s Evolution version.
The Mitsubishi Colt is also available with a 145 hp hybrid powertrain and is called Colt Hybrid. This motorcycle version is available as Intense from €27,990, as First Edition from €29,990 and as Instyle from €31,490.
