Netflix makes a slew of new series and films available every day. On iPhone we look ahead every month at the new offer with the best tips. These are often new series and films, but also old favorites that appear on Netflix.

1. Project Power
What if you could swallow a pill that gave you super powers for five minutes? It’s the only way to find out what superpower you secretly possess. The film, starring Jamie Foxx and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, is about a man who must save his daughter from the evil people behind the pill. Expect a lot of action and spectacular special effects.
Airing on Netflix from 14 August.
2. Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt: Kimmy vs. the Reverend
We had to wait a while for it, but the interactive special of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt can finally be viewed in the Netherlands this month. Kimmy is getting married, but the pastor has other plans. How that is resolved is up to you. You make the choices for Kimmy.
Airing on Netflix from 5 August.
3. Lucifer (season 5)
Lucifer returns in August! Or is it so? In the fifth season, Lucifer’s twin brother, Michael, has a big role. You have to find out for yourself exactly how that works when the devil returns with the first half of the new season.
Airing on Netflix from 21 August.
4. The Rain (season 3)
In the world of The Rain, a few drops can turn you into a zombie. Rasmus and Simone disagree in Season 3 on how to save humanity. Rasmus wants to infect everyone with the same agent that makes him resistant to the virus. Simone is still looking for a medicine. The series ends with this third season.
Airing on Netflix from 6 August.
5. Nailed It! Mexico (season 2)
From more Nailed It! we are always happy, in whatever language. The Mexican version has practically the same energy as the American version, with a nice host and nice candidates. The concept remains the same: amateur bakers who don’t bake with it have to recreate complicated recipes
