With the success of the Taycan you would almost forget that Porsche also has the Panamera in its range. The current generation Panamera has been around for quite a few years now, so it will soon be time for a successor. These photos show the new Porsche Panamera up close.

Last year, Porsche sold more Taycans worldwide than Panameras, which means that the EV has become the brand’s absolute success. In the Netherlands, the Panamera had to tolerate the Cayenne, Taycan and 911 in 2022, and this year the Macan is also ranked higher than the Panamera family. The current generation has been running since 2016 and we are now working hard on a completely new one. It can now be seen up close.

The new Porsche Panamera may be the last generation of the model still for sale with combustion engines. The captured prototype is still plastered with misleading camouflage work, nevertheless it is already quite clear how it dries. There are certainly striking design elements. For example, Porsche seems to give the buttocks of the new Panamera similarities with those of the 911 and the Taycan. The side mirrors also attract attention, as they each stand on two legs.

We expect Porsche to show more of the new Panamera later this year. Count on various (plug-in) hybrids and on variants that have to do without extensive electrical assistance.
