At the beginning of this year, Renault put the Talisman on the cutting table. The now four-year-old middle class returned with a subtly adjusted appearance. Techzle has won the prizes of the refreshed Talisman.
At the beginning of this year, the Talisman was the third Renault to be facelifted in a short time. As with the renewed Mégane en Espace, the Talisman’s appearance remained fairly intact. A lot is changing on the motor level. For example, the complete engine range complies with the latest Euro 6D Full emission standard that car manufacturers must meet from 1 January 2021. Renault equips all petrol engines with a particulate filter and that has consequences for the engine list.

TCe 140
The basic petrol engine was previously the TCe 160. The 158 hp and 270 Nm strong blown 1.3-liter four-cylinder from now on will be joined by a slightly tamer version. The TCe 14o of 140 hp and 240 Nm, which is always linked to a manual six-speed gearbox, is the new entry-level engine. The Renault Talisman Sedan costs at least € 32,690 with this 1.3 liter petrol engine. That amount is for the Business Zen version. As for all other engine versions, the additional cost for the Estate is € 1,200. The Talisman TCe 140 is also available as Business Intense and as a sedan has a starting price of € 34,690.
TCe 160
The now 158 hp (from 160 hp) and 270 Nm strong TCe 160 provides more power. This 1.3-liter petrol engine is always linked to a dual-clutch automatic transmission. The Talisman Sedan costs with this power source, performed as Business Zen, at least € 34,190. Prefer the Business Intense? Then count on a starting price of € 36,190. The TCe 160 is also available for the first time as an extremely luxurious Initiale Paris. That top version costs € 41,890 in sedan form. The 225 hp TCe 225 will disappear from the program.
Diesel
Diesel is now possible with Blue dCi’s of 160 and 190 hp. These self-igniters always do their job in combination with a double clutch automatic transmission. The Blue dCi 160 can only be ordered as Business Intense, with a starting price for the sedan of € 46,590. In addition to Business Intense, the Blue dCi 190 is also available as Initiale Paris. The Talisman Sedan costs € 48,690 and € 54,390 respectively in those versions. Again, an additional cost of € 1,200 applies for the Talisman Estate.
