First Combi, later hatchback
Skoda Octavia Combi
Skoda will start selling the new Octavia in the Netherlands next month. The spacious Combi comes first.
Coronavirus or not, the introduction of new models will continue if possible. Although most car factories in Europe are currently shut down, Skoda will start selling the new Octavia next month. The new model will first be available as a Combi, the hatchback will follow in May.
Skoda will soon announce which versions will be available for the new model. The Octavia is likely to be available on sale with 1.0 and 1.5 TSI petrol engines and as a plug-in hybrid, with 204 hp and 1.4 TSI engine as a basis. There is also a G-Tec natural gas version on the schedule, but we expect that at a later stage.
The new Octavia is built on the same platform as the outgoing model, but is a lot more spacious. The model also has the latest driver assistance systems and the interior has been largely digitized.
