The Skoda Superb, Superb Combi and Kodiaq will be completely renewed later this year. In order not to test our patience too much, Skoda shows us a few silhouettes.

The Skoda Superb has been working on its third generation since 2015, while we are still looking at the first with the Kodiaq (from 2016). Time for the changing of the guard and it will arrive after the summer. Although everything is currently mainly about the electric offensive at the Skoda headquarters in Mladá Boleslav in the Czech Republic, Skoda is taking the opportunity to tease the next Kodiaq and Superb, also the Combi.

Completely new interior

In addition, we are given the prospect of a number of technical innovations. Mild hybrid will soon be standard and plug-in hybrid will also be possible. The Czechs take ADAS to a higher level. For both models, in addition to a new appearance, they also get a completely new interior.

The fourth-generation Superb rolls off the production line in Slovakia’s Bratislava, production of the next Kodiaq will remain in Kyasini, Czech Republic. While Skoda won’t get more specific than ‘autumn unveiling’, we’re pretty sure they mean the IAA in Munich, the first week of September.

And the rest?

Although Skoda is focusing this year mainly on the new Kodiaq and Superb, there is also news for the existing models of the brand. For example, the Scala, Kamiq and the Octavia will soon receive a facelift, according to the Czechs.
