Sporty appearance in two gradations

The new Toyota Prius has only just been unveiled, but sporty versions of Toyota’s latest hybrid have already been presented. The sports flavors come not only from Toyota’s in-house tuner Modellista, but also from Toyota’s own Toyota Racing Development department.
With the brand new Prius, Toyota has managed to attract a lot of attention. Toyota’s new potential economy miracle only comes to the Netherlands as a plug-in hybrid. The new Prius Plug-in Hybrid not only has a much larger electric range, but with 223 hp it is more than 100 hp stronger than the plug version of the previous Prius. Its new high-performance powertrain helps the new Toyota Prius Plug-in Hybrid reach 100 km/h in 6.7 seconds, a world away from the previous plug-in hybrid Prius, which sprinted from standstill to 100 in 11.1 seconds. km/h reached. The greater muscle power of the new Prius has undoubtedly inspired Toyota’s in-house tuner Modellista to already give the model two sporty versions.

Modellista has put together two body kits for the new Toyota Prius. The first is called Neo Advance and is the most pronounced of the bunch. The Toyota Prius with Neo Advance trim from Modellista gets a sporty-looking front bumper with widenings on both sides that incorporate LED lighting. The lower grille is decorated with two striking blue inserts. We see side skirts, eccentric light metal and an attached rear bumper with the necessary lines and folds.
Modellista takes a different tack with the Elegant Ice-called body kit. This set of spoilers, lips and edges should also give the Toyota Prius a sportier appearance, although Toyota’s in-house tuner hopes to give it a more elegant look with a more subtle design and extra chrome strips. There are currently no technical changes.

Toyota Prius TRD
Toyota’s TRD (Toyota Racing Development) department has also developed exterior extras for the new Prius. The Toyota Prius, dressed with GR parts, seems to be closer to the asphalt and gets windshields for the side windows, among other things. At the front we see a modified front bumper and a subtle spoiler is given a place on the rear. Extensive details of this Prius TRD are not yet available.
