New version for electric Smart #1 with 400 kilometers range

Four-wheel drive without Brabus

Smart #1 Pulse

Smart introduces a new motor for the electric #1 on the Dutch market. It is the Smart #1 Pulse, the second four-wheel drive variant for the electric crossover.

The Smart #1 can already be ordered in various variants in the Netherlands. The rear-wheel drive Smart #1 Pro+ and Premium have a 272 hp and 343 Nm strong electric motor on the rear axle that draws its energy from a 62 kWh battery pack. For more electropit you can order the Brabus. It has the same battery pack, but is four-wheel drive thanks to two together 428 hp and 543 Nm strong electric motors. Smart is now introducing a new four-wheel drive variant called Pulse.

Just like the Brabus, the Smart #1 Pulse has two together 428 hp powerful electric motors and the well-known 62 kWh battery. That combination is good for a range of 400 kilometers. The Pulse reaches a speed of 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds. Its top speed is 180 km/h. Although just as powerful as the Brabus, it takes a little longer for the 0-100 sprint. The #1 Pulse buzzes to a speed of 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds, the Brabus does that in 3.9 seconds.

The standard equipment of the Smart #1 Pulse includes a 360-degree camera, the Halo roof glass roof, a 1-inch head-up display and an electrically opening tailgate. A heat pump is included. Fast charging is possible with 150 kW.

The Smart #1 Pulse will be available in the fall of this year and will cost €46,395 in the Netherlands. Smart already indicates that more versions will follow later.

There is also news for the Smart $1 Pro+. It can now charge 22 kW instead of 7.4 kW AC. This model will cost €42,395 and will be available in the Netherlands from the beginning of July. Smart will later also bring this #3 to the Netherlands.
