New Volkswagen Caddy in the picture

Volkswagen is working hard behind the scenes on a completely new generation of the Caddy. Unfortunately for Volkswagen, that newcomer has surfaced online for its planned unveiling.

The new Caddy will most likely make the switch to the MQB platform. The outgoing model dates back to the 2003 base and therefore uses an older base.

Volkswagen chooses to write the model name in the middle of the tailgate and mounts on either side of the rear high-mounted lighting units. The new Caddy muzzle is completely in line with that of recently unveiled Volkswagen models. On these images the person version can be seen, of course Volkswagen also comes with order versions, possibly again in a short and a long variant.

We expect a selection of gasoline and diesel engines on the engine list, some of which may benefit from mild-hybrid technology. Volkswagen also uses such a technology in the new Golf. In addition, count on the arrival of new assistance systems that the outgoing Caddy had to miss due to his age. An official unveiling will probably not be long in coming.
