The new Volkswagen Golf can be ordered from now on. The price list starts at 25,995 euros, the first deliveries take place in March.
Volkswagen starts selling the new Golf 8. The brand initially offers the hatchback in six different engine versions, with power ratings from 90 to 150 hp. There are four TSI gasoline variants, the most powerful with mild hybrid technology. The basic engine, the 1.0 TSI, can be ordered from the middle of next month.
The standard equipment of the new Golf includes a digital cockpit, a multimedia system with online functions, air conditioning and LED headlights. A step higher is the Life version, with adaptive cruise control, parking sensors, a wireless telephone charger and mood lighting as the most important extras. The top model Style is also equipped with automatic climate control with three zones, 17-inch alloy wheels, electrically adjustable seats with massage position, a rain sensor and an automatically dimming interior mirror. Volkswagen has the Life Business version especially for business drivers, including a navigation system, semi-autonomous driving functions and electrically adjustable seats.
Volkswagen will add more versions and engine versions to the range later this year, and a total of five different hybrid versions will be available.
