With temperatures rising to 38 degrees Celsius this week, it is important for everyone to keep a cool head. We crank up the air conditioning, cool down in the pool and drink everything in combination with ice cubes. But do you also think about your mobile friend?
Your iPhone can’t handle heat very well. Apple recommends using the iPhone only in temperatures between 0 and 35ºC. Warmer than that can permanently reduce iPhone battery life. And that’s not so cool.
If your iPhone overheats, you’ll see a warning message on your device. “The iPhone needs to cool down before you can use it.” It is then only possible to call an emergency number with your device. It is important to avoid receiving such a message, as the heat can be harmful.
