Novitec has indulged in the McLaren 765LT. The result is, among other things, a power that the name of the McLaren no longer matches.
At McLarens you can always see at a glance how powerful they are. After all, you can see that in the name. The 765LT has a 765 hp version of the 4.0 biturbo V8 behind the seats. It should be enough to catapult the Longtail to 100 km / h in 2.8 seconds and let it thunder to 330 km / h. Not enough, they thought at Novitec. It must be said: the extra power that the German tuner is able to squeeze out of the block is impressive. The most extensive package brings that to no less than 855 hp. The maximum torque increases from 800 Nm to 898 Nm.
An exhaust system specially developed by Novitec and ceramic-coated intakes for the turbos are largely responsible for this. Novitec has also programmed an adjustment for the engine management to further unleash the V8. All in all, it is good for a 0-100 km / h sprint that takes 2.5 seconds. You can reach 200 km / h in 6.5 seconds, 0.7 seconds faster than usual.
Of course it is not complete without external adjustments. For example, we see more large air intakes all around. Larger openings have been created in the front bumper, hood and just in front of the rear wheels. Novitec also provides the 765LT with various carbon fiber extras to increase the downforce. The car sits at the rear on 21-inch and at the front on 20-inch alloy wheels that were developed together with Vossen. It concerns unique wheels designed for the 765LT.
