Instructions: This is how oil pulling works

If you want to try oil pulling, you should do the oil cure in the morning after getting up before you eat or drunk something. You do not need expensive special oil, you can use different types of food oil. More on that in the last paragraph.
- Put a tablespoon of food oil in your mouth. If you have chosen coconut oil, it takes a short moment for it to liquefy.
- Move the oil back and forth in the mouth. You can chew it, pull through your teeth or suck from one side of the baking to the other – the main thing is that it stays in motion.
- The whole process should run relaxed and take about 15 to 20 minutes. If you do not take the oil pull through that long, the cure cannot develop its full effect. At the beginning you can only try it for a few minutes and then increase yourself.

The best oils for oil pulling

No matter what food oil you choose: make sure that it is of high quality and has organic quality. Regional products are more sustainable as possible.
With these oils, oil pulling succeeds:
-
You can obtain sunflower oil from Germany. It is also mild in taste. This makes it particularly suitable for oil pulling.
- Linseed oil is also considered particularly healing in the mouth and throat area. Since it has a rather bitter taste, you can mix it with sunflower oil in a ratio of 1: 1.
-
Coconut oil not only tastes pleasant, but also has an antibacterial effect. Our oral flora in particular benefits from this type of oil. One disadvantage is his poor climate balance due to the wide transport routes.
- You can also use olive oil for oil pulling – but exclusively in cold -pressed, native shape.
Utopia says: The effectiveness of oil pulling is not scientifically secured – but it probably can’t do anything. So far, side effects have only rarely occurred. If you want to get an idea of Ayurvedic practice for yourself, you can just try it out.
