Old Peugeot 5008 thousands of euros cheaper

In the autumn of this year, Peugeot will launch the new 5008, which is also available with fully electric powertrains. Until the new Peugeot 5008 and e-5008 arrive, the outgoing model presented in 2016 will have to wait a while. To make the car extra attractive in the coming months, prices will be lowered. AutoWeek can report this exclusively after a look at the price lists.

Until recently, the Peugeot 5008 was in the order books from €44,470, but can now be found with a starting price of €42,265. This reduces the starting price by €2,205. The new starting price applies to the Peugeot 5008 Active Pack Business with a 130 hp 1.2 Puretech petrol engine, a machine that is linked to a manual gearbox. The 5008 with this petrol engine is also available as an Allure Pack Business and as a GT. The Allure Pack Business variant will also be €2,205 less expensive. In combination with the GT version, you have to settle for a price reduction of €1,000. The mild-hybrid and 136 hp Hybrid 136 with e-DCS6 automatic transmission will also remain. The Peugeot 5008 with the mild-hybrid drivetrain is also €2,205 cheaper in the Active Pack Business and Allure Pack Business versions. Here too, the price of the GT version drops by €1,000. Diesel is also possible with the BlueHDi 130 with eight-speed automatic transmission. That motorcycle version is only available as an Allure Pack Business and it also drops in price by €2,205.

The Peugeot 5008, which will be redeemed later this year, underwent a thorough overhaul in 2020 and was introduced to its mild-hybrid petrol engines last year. In 2023, 1,055 new 5008s were registered in the Netherlands. For the first two months of this year, the registration counter stands at 246 copies.
