OnePlus has plans for a smartphone from the high middle segment that focuses heavily on fast charging. The phone is rumored to work with a 150W fast charger and also appears with a decent camera sensor and a powerful MediaTek processor.
OnePlus phone with 150W charger
OnePlus has announced its OnePlus 10 Pro phone in China, but while we’re still waiting for that flagship to launch in international markets, the brand is already looking ahead. The Chinese Rumor Spreader Digital Chat Station now states that OnePlus is working on a smartphone with high-end specs and remarkably powerful fast charging performance.
The as yet unknown OnePlus phone will work with a 150W fast charger and has a 4,500 mAh battery. The smartphone comes with an unannounced MediaTek processor, the Dimensity 8100. According to leaked information, it is a chipset for phones from the high middle segment and it has a clock speed of 2.85GHz.
We also know more about the screen, because OnePlus is going to work with a 6.7-inch panel, which is the same size as with the OnePlus 10 Pro. the screen has a Full HD resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It is striking that this phone appears with one high-quality main camera: the Sony IMX766. It is the same sensor that OPPO also uses in the Find X5 Pro.
The regular OnePlus 10?
And then the most important question remains, namely which upcoming OnePlus phone will it be exactly. Our expectation lies with the regular OnePlus 10, because those phones would appear with a MediaTek processor according to previous rumors. OnePlus no longer wants to position the regular OnePlus 10 as a small copy of the Pro version and so it is reshaped into a mid-range device that is just above the Nord range when it comes to specifications.
