Opel Grandland tackled by Irmscher

The Opel Grandland lost the ‘X’ behind the name during its facelift, but mainly got a much more modern nose in return. Now that the Grandland looks so different, Irmscher also wants to let go of his skills again.

The Opel Grandland X disappeared from the scene in June. At least, then the Opel Grandland was unveiled, the facelifted Grandland X. Opel screwed on its new ‘Vizor Grille’ and that immediately gives the SUV a completely different appearance. However, everything could be better, Irmscher thinks. The German tuner, who is a regular at Opel, gives the Grandland a number of external novelties. Nothing is happening to the engine yet.

Due to the work of Irmscher, the Grandland gets an even further modified nose (as desired). The chrome strip that visually connects the headlights has disappeared. Furthermore, all normally chrome-plated or silver-grey accents are now in black. All in all, it gives the Grandland a significantly less ‘friendly’ nose. Incidentally, this is all at an additional cost, you can also leave it at the well-known story (see photos 3 and 4).

Furthermore, Irmscher has lowered the Grandland three centimeters and the car is now on new 20-inch light metal. These are wheels from Irmscher himself, called ‘Heli Star’. They are available in both black and silver-grey. Also striking are the running boards that Irmscher mounts on the sills. Finally, an optional Irmscher decal on the sides allows you to show that you’re riding something special.
