Small news from Anglo-Chinese. London Electric Vehicle Company (LEVC) has made a name for its new customer.
In mid-last year, the London Electric Vehicle Company (LEVC) put forward a van based on the TX. We mainly know this TX as the current incarnation of the ‘London Taxi’.
For the time being, the van had to do without an official model name, but more than half a year after the reveal of the practical plug-in, the English put a name on the car: VN5. The LEVC has the same drivetrain as the TX, which means that here too an electric motor works together with a 1.5 three-cylinder from Volvo. Thanks to a 31 kWh battery pack, the VN5 should be able to cover approximately 102 kilometers electrically. The VN5 has a loading volume of 5 cubic meters and a loading capacity of 800 kilos. In the fourth quarter of this year, the VN5 will appear on the English order lists.
