Pagani comes with extreme Huayra R.

Pagani has sent out a very interesting teaser record. The exclusive Italian sports car manufacturer shows a picture of what may be a new extreme version of Zonda successor Huayra. It is probably even a supreme Huayra R!

Pagani has run several special editions of Huayra predecessor Zonda, but it is the limited to 15 pieces and only for track use Zonda R that is seen as the holy grail of the Zondas. The Zonda was succeeded by the Huayra in 2012, but no R version of that supercar has yet been released. That may change soon. Pagani posted an image on his Facebook page showing a heavily expanded model, a car that could just be the long-awaited Huayra R.

Pagani Zonda R.

The Huayra R is considered, should it actually come, as the superlative of the Huayra that will even blow the fierce Huayra BC and BC Roadster left and right past. We see a fiercely developed model that can hardly be recognized from behind as Huayra. The regular Huayra squeezes 730 hp from its twin turbo V12, while the Huayra Roadster manages to get 764 hp from that twelve-cylinder. The Huayra BC and BC Roadster even kick successively to 755 hp and 800 hp. Above it is the Huayra Imola, an 838 hp Huayra variant. The Huayra R is expected to exceed that with its roughly 900 hp. Don’t be surprised if Pagani puts a turbo-free V12 in the back for the Huayra R, just like in the Zonda R.

It is not yet known when Pagani will present the Huayra R to the world.
