The brand new Peugeot 408 debuts – how could it be otherwise – in a special First Edition called introduction version. Only 50 copies will come to the Netherlands, each of which costs more than €51,000.
The Peugeot 408 is a brand new crossover that will be between the 308 and 3008. The slick-lined and high-standing Peugeot 408, just like the 308 with which it shares its base, comes with various powertrains available. In addition to a 130 hp 1.2 PureTech three-cylinder, there will be 180 hp and 225 hp plug-ins. It is the strongest plug-in hybrid powertrain that Peugeot hangs in the special introduction version of the Peugeot 408.
Peugeot will only bring 50 copies of the 408 Plug-in Hybrid 225 First Edition to the Netherlands. They all have a starting price of €51,260. The First Editions are always painted in the color Blue Obsession, stand on 20-inch Monolithe light metal and have seats that are upholstered in both textile and Alcantara. They are electrically adjustable, heated and have a massage function. The normally optional 7.4 kW on-board charger is also part of the First Edition party.
The Peugeot 408 Plug-in Hybrid 225 has a 12.4 kWh battery that enables a range of about 60 kilometers. In the end, regular versions of the Peugeot 408 will also come to our country, such as the Allure and the GT. Prices of the Peugeot 408 with other powertrains and in regular trim will follow later.
