Peugeot e-3008 teaser

The brand new Peugeot e-3008 is about to be shown to the world. The time has come on September 12th. The announcement is accompanied by some teaser images of the electric SUV.

Next Tuesday is the day, when Peugeot will present the brand new e-3008. The electric sequel to the current Peugeot 3008 promises to take some distance from its predecessor not only in terms of drivetrain, but also in appearance. As previously shown in spy photos, the Peugeot e-3008 will have a more sloping roofline, relatively small and sharply shaped headlights and a strikingly high ‘hood’ ending in the front. In a new teaser image we may already see what’s happening just below.

In the top left image we appear to see a close-up of the grille, with the model name visible between the grille and the hood. We have never seen it this way before with Peugeot. The image below appears to be a further close-up of that part of the front. At the top right we see the rear of the car from above and you can already see how the sloping roofline relates to the lower part of the carriage. The Peugeot e-3008 appears to have a fastback-like rear, like the 408, for example. Finally, at the bottom right we probably see the rear of the Peugeot e-3008 up close, with the brand name written in a dark decorative part. In the teaser video in which these images can be seen, we also see hints of the interior. However, this no longer has any (big) surprises in store for us, because Peugeot has already largely shown this before.

The Peugeot e-3008 is on a new basis, namely the STLA Medium platform from parent company Stellantis. This brings technology to the e-3008, which enables it to achieve up to 700 km of driving range with a full battery. For those who want to drive a 3008 but do not yet want to switch to a fully electric one, the current 3008-without-e will remain on the market for a while.
