Peugeot e-5008 is already showing its third row of seats

While the news is breaking out in Geneva and eyes are mainly focused on the new Renault 5, Peugeot is already showing the interior of the all-new Peugeot e-5008. The electric version of the new 5008 shows, among other things, its third row of seats.

At the end of March, Peugeot will show the new (e-)5008 in full, but for now we have to make do with a somewhat limited video (see below) of the interior. In the front we of course see ‘normal’ the dashboard of the 3008, in the back a headrest in row three attracts attention. The middle row of seats is also interesting: just like now, the 5008 will soon have three separate seats, an important difference from many direct competitors.

About 5008 further inside is actually not very exciting. As usual, this will be the longer and more spacious version of the 3008 and we have already looked at the new version for a long time. Because the 5008 also gets the electric drivetrains of the e-3008, it is still a small revolution. After all, as an e-5008, the Peugeot is an electric seven-seater and there are not that many of them yet. In the best case, count on roughly 100 kilometers of range per seat, or 700 kilometers in total.

The dashboard of the (e-)3008 is also available in the (e-)5008.

Those who prefer not to drive electric can soon also order the 5008 as a mild hybrid and perhaps even a PHEV, although the latter would be the first time. Don’t think that the screen shown in the teaser video shows the outside, because this appears to be a 3008. The 5008 will have a longer silhouette and a more vertical butt, as evidenced by previous spy images of the model.
