Peugeot introduces an action model for the e-Rifter: the Road Trip. This variant is based on the Allure Pack, but has a number of extras on top that you do not have to pay for.
The e-Rifter Road Trip is only available as a ‘Long’, which means that it has a longer wheelbase than the regular e-Rifter and has seven seats. The Road Trip has the same starting price as the Allure Pack, €45,370 roadworthy, but has a number of extras that you have to pay extra for on the Allure Pack. First of all, with the Road Trip you can choose one of the six available metallic paint colors at no extra cost. This usually costs €650. Furthermore, the Pack Urban Plus, which includes front parking sensors, a reversing camera, parking assistant, blind spot detection and electrically folding door mirrors, is also standard. The Winter Pack, including seat heating, is also standard.
You can also order the Connect Nav navigation system on the Road Trip for €360. On the Allure Pack this will cost you €670. Peugeot does this because the Road Trip will then still be just below the SEPP subsidy limit of €45,000. After all, the standard tax value is €44,550. If you want such a packed e-Rifter with subsidy, you have to be quick. Peugeot only supplies the promotional model during the month of February.
In the Peugeot configurator, the Winter Pack and Pack Urban Plus are still listed as options with the Road Trip. However, Peugeot Netherlands confirms to AutoWeek that the packages are included in the Road Trip.
