Tightened
Stellantis recently presented facelifts for all its vans in one fell swoop. It is of course also the turn of the passenger versions and now Peugeot is presenting the updated e-Traveller.
The day you knew would come is finally here. After the presentation of all the refreshed Stellantis vans, the passenger versions are now gradually being brought forward and today it is the turn of the Peugeot e-Traveller. We got to know the e-Traveller in 2020 as the electric passenger version of the Peugeot Expert. This is still relatively recent, but of course the e-Traveller also benefits from various innovations.
The Peugeot e-Traveller gets a new nose, just like the Expert. Where the ‘grille’ used to be, everything has now been closed up and we only see three extensions towards the center from the headlights. Peugeot’s latest logo also appears on it and the e-Traveller has a new front bumper. In the interior, which unfortunately we have not yet seen, just like with the Peugeot e-Rifter, you are treated to a new digital instrumentation and a new 10-inch infotainment system.
On a technical level, it largely remains the same, with the exception of the driving ranges. The 136 hp electric motor can remain, just like the 50 and 75 kWh battery packs. The second now provides a slightly longer driving range: 350 km instead of 330 km. Remarkably, the range with the 50 kWh battery actually decreases slightly. That was 230 km. The charging times are comparable to before: the 50 kWh battery pack can be charged from 5 to 80 percent full in about 38 minutes, while the 75 kWh battery pack takes 45 minutes. AC charging is optional with 11 kW, standard with 7.4 kW.
The Peugeot e-Traveller is back on the market as a five- and nine-seater. The first has up to 3,000 liters of luggage space, the nine-seater version still has 1,500 liters of space left. Dutch market information and prices will follow.
