The Opel adepts of the German Irmscher have already grabbed the Astra by the claws and are now focusing on the plug-in hybrid Opel Astra GSe and Astra Sports Tourer GSe. We have to disappoint those who had hoped for extra muscle power. The sporty hatchback and plug station do not get any horsepower.
Although Irmscher also releases his creative arts on models from other brands, the tuner still prefers to focus on Opels. The Astra has already undergone an Irmscher treatment and now it is the naturally sporty GSe versions of the Astra and Astra Sports Tourer that leave Irmscher’s cutting table with an accentuated appearance.
Irmscher gives the Opel Astra GSe and Astra Sports Tourer GSe a new front bumper with a larger front lip, attached side skirts and there are also some changes at the rear of the plug-in hybrid pair. For example, the GSe’s get a different rear bumper and a larger roof spoiler. Irmscher has new 18- and 19-inch wheels on the menu, sticks Irmscher stickers on the cars and also takes care of the interior. For example, you can come to Irmscher for different colors of leather upholstery, velor floor mats and special door sills.
The Opel Astra GSe and Astra Sports Tourer GSe do not receive any additional power and therefore simply have a system power of 225 hp again. That comes from a 110 hp 1.6 petrol engine and an electric motor of 110 hp. The Astra GSe sprints to 100 km/h in 7.5 seconds and has a top speed of 235 km/h. The 12.4-kWh battery gives the GSe’s an electric range of more than 60 kilometers.
More Irmscher news relates to the Volkswagen Transporter T6.1, which can be covered by Irmscher with a set of cross elements.
