Polygram social app uses your facial expression in response

Polygram tries to differentiate itself by letting users respond to posts with their own facial expression, which is converted into an emoji.

Social network with facial recognition

It is not easy to conquer a place among established social networks such as Facebook, Snapchat and Twitter. But Polygram thinks it has the golden idea. The app recognizes the user’s facial expressions via the iPhone’s selfie camera. Polygram’s technology converts the face into an emoji when you view a post.

As a result, the responses are very honest. Only when you have to laugh genuinely does the app register that response. Most of the time you probably look a bit bored at the iPhone screen. The app is all about these emoji as reactions. You cannot hand out likes or choose a response yourself. The face determines.

Statistics

In addition to emoji, the app provides a lot of statistics of posts. If you have posted a photo, you will see how many people have responded in which way. In addition, Polygram shows how long others have looked at your messages, how many views you have and how many people have clicked through the message. In addition, the app shows whether women or men have viewed your mail and where they come from.

The network is all about images. For example, you can paste masks over your selfies (like in Snapchat and Instagram) and adjust your voice in videos. The app puts a blur on photos you want to share privately. The underlying image can be pre-wiped and discerned by the receiver. If the other person tries to take a screenshot, the image will quickly become blurred again.

Download Polygram

Whether it is enough to make Polygram a success is still the question. The app is currently only available on iOS and the interface is quite complicated, so you initially have to search a lot. In addition, not everyone will appreciate that you have to give the app permission to switch on the camera, microphone and notifications before you can get started.
