The Porsche 911 GT3 is currently the most hardcore version of the current 911 generation. However, the 911 GT3 cannot call itself the 911 king for a long time. The Porsche 911 GT3 RS visible in these spy photos is eager to dethrone the 911 GT3.
The Porsche 911 GT3 is on paper not the most powerful 911 you can currently buy. That is namely the Turbo S with its 650 hp 3.8 six-cylinder boxer engine. The 911 GT3 is currently the sportiest and therefore the most dynamic version of the 911 family, but soon that version will have to recognize its superiority in the new Porsche 911 GT3 RS.
Porsche 911 GT3 RS
The packed Porsche 911 seen in these photos while navigating the Nürburgring-Nordschleife betrays its GT3 RS nature, among other things, with its modified bumper and spoiler work all around. In addition, this test model has GT3 RS-characteristic air openings in the front fenders. The rear spoiler is really immense. The definitive 911 GT3 RS may have a slightly more modestly designed cake server on the back, although the 911 GT3 already has a decent ironing board on its rear.
The 911 GT3 squeezes 510 hp and 470 Nm from its naturally aspirated 4.0 six-cylinder boxer engine. It is expected that the GT3 RS will exceed this with about 20 hp. More later this year!
