The Porsche 911 992 has been with us for about three years now and it seems that Porsche thinks it is time to give it a subtle facelift. With an emphasis on subtle.

A facelift is generally not very intense for the Porsche 911. Even between different generations there are relatively few differences in the appearance. The facelift that now seems to be in the pipeline for the 911 is no exception to that approach. The changes seem to focus purely on the nose for now. For example, we see slightly different air intakes in the front bumper. The turn signals have also been moved to the corners. It may be a vertically placed light unit, instead of the horizontal one we are used to. Although we see a Porsche 911 Turbo in these photos, the changes will of course gradually be spread over various versions.

What makes the facelift more exciting is whether Porsche will use it to introduce a hybrid-powered 911. After all, we received a sign of life last summer. For the time being, it seems that Porsche is basing the first hybrid 911 on the Turbo and then it will logically be called 911 Turbo E-Hybrid. With the electrical support, probably via an electric motor coupled to the gearbox, the 580 hp of the regular Turbo is undoubtedly considerably exceeded.
