Apparently Porsche is keen to keep the Panamera as current as possible. In 2020 the car underwent a facelift and Porsche has been testing for a while with a revised version of its luxurious GT.
In the far north of Sweden, our spy photographer ran into a subtly taped Porsche Panamera while shivering. If you look closely, you will see that this Panamera has a front bumper that you are not yet familiar with from the model. The cooling opening in the center of the bumper is larger and also has a visible opening above the number plate. In addition, it seems that Porsche is installing vertically oriented LED daytime running lights on both sides of the bumper. A novelty in Panamera country, currently the LED daytime running lights are always ‘lying’.
It does not appear that Porsche is thoroughly overhauling the Panamera on the cutting table. In 2020, the model already underwent a facelift and it is too early for a second real intervention. Don’t be surprised if Porsche implements a model year update on the Panamera this year that, in addition to subtle exterior changes, also brings a handful of internal novelties to the model. Developments are particularly rapid in the field of infotainment. Another possibility is that Porsche has managed to pry a new gap between the huge range of engine versions to squeeze in a new version.
More later this year no doubt!
