Ford is expanding the price list of the cheerfully lined Puma in one movement on both the top and bottom. The crossover will get a new base engine and a new top engine at the same time! The power difference between the two new machines is 105 hp. The most powerful version is immediately the new ST-X version!
Ford has a sporty top version of the Puma in the development rooms, an ST-like variant of which Techzle can now report that it will most likely not be called ST, but ST-X. This ST-X variant gets the famous 200 hp 1.5 under the hood from the Fiesta, a machine that is linked to a manual six-speed gearbox. Extensive technical specifications and images of the yet to be revealed ST-X are therefore not available yet. Techzle does know that the new top version will receive a tax price of € 39,795. If we add to that the costs of getting roadworthy of € 930, this results in a starting price of € 40,725.
Techzle also has some of the standard equipment of the Puma ST-X to tackle. The hottest variant of the Puma ST-X is on 19-inch large light metal, has of course a sports suspension and a body full of sporty bumper and spoiler work and has things like side mirror caps and roof painted in contrasting color. The Puma ST-X also gets sports seats from Recaro, has a heated steering wheel, keyless entry, parking sensors at both the front and rear and half leather upholstery is also standard. A B&O audio system with ten speakers and a subwoofer are also standard equipment. More information about the sporty top version of the Puma will probably follow soon.

At the other end of the spectrum, Ford is expanding the Puma’s engine list with a 95 hp 1.0, a relatively modest engine version that will bolster the current 125 hp and 155 hp Ecoboosts. This new basic engine is only available in combination with the Connected equipment level. His tax price is € 23,045. If we also add the costs of getting ready to drive of € 930, then in this case this results in a new entry-level price of the Puma of € 23,975. Here too, more later!
