The first electric Volkswagen with the GTX label is on the Dutch price list. For that extra powerful Volkswagen ID4 GTX you have to dig deep into your pouch.
Since the market introduction at the end of last year, Volkswagen has already managed to sell 3,277 ID4s in our country. Until now, the 204 hp ID4 Pro was the top model, but that will change with the 299 hp ID4 GTX. The GTX is on the price list from € 52,190. That is € 5,850 more than Volkswagen asks for the Pro. For that money you not only get a power upgrade, but also four-wheel drive and slightly modified bumpers with GTX daytime running lights. In contrast to the regular ID4, the sills are painted in the body color on the GTX. In the interior, the GTX distinguishes itself thanks to sports seats with red stitching and GTX logos in the backrest. The dashboard is upholstered in the striking ‘X Blue’.
In terms of standard equipment, you get things like adaptive cruise control, front and rear parking sensors, automatic air conditioning and the Discover Pro navigation system with the GTX. In addition, the phone can be charged wirelessly and the GTX also has LED matrix lighting as standard. Furthermore, the GTX has the advantage that it can pull 1,200 kilos instead of 1,000 kilos for the other versions. In terms of range, you do sacrifice something compared to the ID4 Pro: the GTX manages to squeeze a theoretical range of 482 kilometers from its 77 kWh measuring battery pack, the Pro kicks it up to 520 kilometers with the same battery capacity.
The ID4 GTX can be ordered immediately.
