You can order them, the plug-in hybrid versions of the Kia Ceed Sportswagon and the Kia XCeed. Deliveries start in April. The prices have just been announced.

Last year, Kia announced the release of the Ceed Sportswagon and XCeed as a plug-in hybrid. Today the order books will open. If you order quickly, you can expect your plug hybrid from April. For the Ceed Sportswagon Plug-in Hybrid a starting price of 34,495 euros applies, for the XCeed of 35,495 euros. The cars come standard with a 7-year (or 150,000 km) guarantee.

In our earlier message you can read everything about motorization, battery pack and characteristic details. Now we will discuss the equipment. You can choose this in three levels: entry level DynamicLine, the richer DynamicPlusLine and top level ExecutiveLine.

Three trim levels

By default you have a 10.25 inch full-map navigation system, TomTom Live Services, DAB + and preparation for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto in the entry level. The car also has alloy wheels, cruise control, a light and rain sensor, 2-zone climate control and driver assistance systems. These are expanded in the DynamicPlusLine with, among other things, adaptive cruise control, autonomous lane tracking assistance and speed sign recognition. Privacy glass and heating of the seat and handlebars also belong to this level.

Extras at the top level are for example the 12.3 inch digital instrument cluster, a glass sliding / tilting roof, leather upholstery; an electrically operated driver’s seat with memory function, seat heating and ventilation; wireless charging of smartphones and an automatic tailgate.

Furthermore, the plug-in hybrid Ceed Sportswagon and XCeed have powertrain-specific functions. Examples are the charging indicator and displays, UVO Connect telematics functions as available charging points in the area, ‘Driver Only’ climate control that saves energy and the recovery of brake energy. Finally, Kia supplies various cables with which you can charge the car at a charging point.
