Just plug in!

Before Mercedes-Benz announces it itself, AutoWeek can already report the first prices of the new Mercedes-Benz E-class. The new Meredes-Benz E-class Limousine and Estate can be ordered immediately, although for the time being you can only choose from plug-in hybrid powertrains.
The new Mercedes-Benz E-Class Limousine and E-Class Estate were presented with a pair of mild hybrid and a range of plug-in hybrid powertrains. AutoWeek has obtained the prices of the plug-in hybrid versions of both the E-class Limousine and Estate. The new E-class Limousine has a starting price of €71,676 as a plug-in hybrid E300e. For the more spacious E-class Estate you will have to pay at least €72,243 for the time being.
Mercedes-Benz E300e and E300e 4Matic
The Mercedes-Benz E-class E300e has a 204 hp petrol engine and a 129 hp electric heart. The system power is a generous 313 hp and 550 Nm. The battery pack has a capacity of 25.4 kWh. Depending on the chosen version, you can travel up to almost 120 kilometers on electric power alone. The plug-in hybrid versions of the previous generation E-class had a 13.5 kWh battery pack and kicked it up to 55 electric kilometers. In terms of range, the E-class is therefore taking a huge step. The E300e and E300e 4Matic sprint successively in 6.4 and 6.5 seconds to a speed of 100 km/h and have a top speed of about 235 km/h.
The E-class Limousine costs at least €71,676 as an E300e. For that amount you get the Luxury Line version. It is also available with this powertrain as an AMG Line and costs €76,490. The E300e is also available in combination with 4Matic four-wheel drive. Those who wish can go for the AMG Line (€79,325) and Exclusive Line (€83,586). The Mercedes-Benz E-Class Estate is currently only available as an E300e with rear-wheel drive. As a Luxury Line it costs €74,243 and as an AMG Line €79,083.
The E-class Estate is currently only available as an E300e.
Mercedes-Benz E400e 4Matic
For more plug-in hybrid power, Mercedes-Benz has come up with the E400e. Just like the E300e, that powertrain has a 129 hp electric motor, but the petrol engine is a lot stronger with 252 hp. The system power is therefore 381 hp and 650 Nm. The E400e is only available in combination with 4Matic all-wheel drive. As an E400e 4Matic, the E accelerates to a speed of 100 km/h in 5.3 seconds. Its top: 250 km/h. The Mercedes-Benz E-class is currently only available as a Limousine as an E400e 4Matic. It is available as an Exclusive Line from €89,152 and as an AMG Line from €91,330.
