Prices Opel Corsa Hybrid: more for more

Before Opel itself makes it public, AutoWeek can tell you the prices of the Opel Corsa Hybrid. The mild-hybrid Opel Corsa is of course more expensive than the versions with a conventional petrol engine, but for your extra money you do get an automatic transmission and a car that consumes less.

Until now, the Opel Corsa was only available with traditional petrol engines and as a Corsa Electric with fully electric drivetrains. Mild hybrid petrol engines are now being added. The Opel Corsa Hybrid – as the mild-hybrid variants are called – is available in two power variants and has a starting price of €27,149.

For that generous 27 grand you get the Opel Corsa Hybrid with a 100 hp 1.2 Turbo Hybrid drivetrain, available as an unnamed basic version. It will cost you €1,850 more than for a similarly equipped Opel Corsa with a traditional and therefore non-mild hybrid 100 hp 1.2 Turbo with manual gearbox (€25,299). For that extra €1,850 you will benefit from the benefits that the mild hybrid has. drivetrain entails. For example, the Corsa Hybrid has a six-speed automatic transmission as standard, a dual-clutch transmission housing a 28 hp and 55 Nm electric motor. The mild-hybrid Corsa Hybrid is more economical than the Corsa with the 100 hp traditional 1.2. The average consumption of the Corsa Hybrid with 100 hp is 4.5-4.6 l/100 km, that of the Corsa 1.2 Turbo (100 hp) 5.1-5.4 l/100 km. The 100 hp Corsa Hybrid is also available as a Corsa GS and costs €29,349 in that form.

The Opel Corsa with 130 hp and non-mild hybrid 1.2 will be discontinued. There will be a mild-hybrid Opel Corsa Hybrid that produces 136 hp. It is available from the GS version and costs €29,949 in that configuration. It is also available as an Ultimate (€33,349). The average consumption of the 136 hp mild-hybrid Corsa Hybrid is set at 4.7-4.8 l/100 km and is therefore also below that of the petrol versions without electric assistance.

You can get into an Opel Corsa from €24,149. For that money you get the Corsa with a 75 hp turbo-free 1.2. The electric Opel Corsa Electric is available – with 136 hp – from €34,999. The Corsa Electric Long Range with 156 hp and more efficient and slightly larger battery pack changes owners from €37,999.
