Opel announces the starting price of the new Insignia. You can order the model for at least 36,699 euros.
The new Opel Insignia has been modified on several points, the new engines are the most important news. The base model is equipped with the 145 hp 1.4 petrol engine. Furthermore, there is a 2.0 engine with 200 and 230 hp, a 1.5 diesel with 122 hp and a 2.0D with 174 hp. A nine-speed automatic is standard on the 2.0 petrol engine, an eight-speed variant can be ordered as an option on the most powerful diesel version.
The standard equipment of the renewed model includes air conditioning with two climate zones, an infotainment system with 7 inch touchscreen and support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, front and rear parking sensors and LED headlights. Furthermore, the middle class is equipped with various driving assistance systems such as pedestrian recognition, an automatic emergency brake and a lane assistant.
Opel supplies the Insignia as a Grand Sport and as a spacious Sports Tourer. The brand offers various versions, including the sporty GSi version that is equipped with the strongest petrol engine.
