In June Toyota carried out a facelift on perhaps its most indestructible model: the Hilux. Techzle is the first to receive the prices of that new workhorse.
The revised Toyota Hilux got a different snout, but it didn’t stop there. The 150 hp 2.4 diesel was joined by a 2.8 diesel engine with 240 hp, good for no less than 500 Nm of torque. This 2.8, reserved for the Hilux Xtra and Double Cab versions, has now ended up on the price list, just like the other versions of the refreshed pick-up. This means that it is also known what the new Invincible version introduced with the facelift of the Hilux must cost.
Gray license plate
The starting price is € 19,995. Please note, this is the net list price and is therefore exclusive of VAT. It is therefore the Single Cabin Van, a gray license plate version. For that amount, the Hilux is equipped with the 150 hp 2.4 D-4D diesel (2WD) and is equipped as Comfort. With the 2.4 D-4D in the front, this Single Cabin Van is also available with four-wheel drive, but is then immediately executed as Cool Comfort. Its starting price: € 24,995. The always four-wheel drive Hilux Xtra Cabine Van can be ordered with the 150 hp 2.4 as well as with the new 204 hp 2.8 diesel. The Xtra Cabine Van with 2.4 D-4D has a starting price of € 26,595, the more powerful 2.8 changes from a minimum of € 32,895 from the owner. Prefer the Hilux Double Cab Van? For this gray license plate version, with 2.4 D-4D and with 2.8 D-4D, expect prices of € 29,895 and € 37,745 respectively. The roughly dressed Invincible is only available in combination with the 2.8 D-4D. In the Xtra Cabine Van and Double Cabine Van, the Invincible costs € 35,395 and € 41,495 respectively. All mentioned prices refer to the manual versions. Both the 2.4 and the 2.8 – with the exception of the Single Cab Van – are also available with an automatic transmission.
Yellow license plate
Prefer a Hilux on a yellow license plate? Then you have to rely on the Hilux Double Cabin. This version with space for five passengers has a starting price of € 90,380 as a 2-4D with manual gearbox. The 2.8 D-4D changes thanks to a significantly lower CO2 emissions for less from owner: € 82,380. The Invincible variant has a base price of € 94,880.
