Longer life span
The English Everrati does nothing more than spoon electric powertrains into classics. You could already turn to Everrati for electric Land Rover ‘Series’ models, and now the company is also adding the first Range Rover and the Land Rover Defender to the list of candidates.
Installing an electric powertrain in a classic car can count on both supporters and opponents. One fears the loss of character, the other sees converting old-timers into EVs as a great way to keep the old stuff drivable in the future. Everrati is an English company that logically ranks among the proponents of EV conversions. The company offers, among other things, an electric replica of the Ford GT40, a set of electric Porsches and Land Rovers Series models converted to EV. The Land Rover Defender and the first generation Range Rover are now added.
Technical specifications are not yet released by Everrati. It does release the amounts it wants to receive for its electric Land Rovers. A Land Rover Defender 90 or 110 converted into an EV will cost you a minimum of €212,000 and you will then have to provide a donor car yourself. It will be fully restored if necessary. For an electric Land Rover Range Rover you will have to pay at least €263,000. Here too, the costs for a donor car are added if you cannot deliver it yourself.
