Renault Espace ready for 2021

Renault has prepared the Espace for 2021, which means that the MPV meets the Euro 6D-full emissions standard that will take effect from January 1, 2021. This has consequences for the Dutch delivery list.

The Dutch delivery range of the Renault Espace is quite limited. Until recently, the big brother of the Scénic and Grand Scénic was available with a 200 hp and 400 Nm strong 2.0 diesel engine, the dCi 200. This engine version has been tightened and now fully complies with the Euro 6D Full emission standard, a stricter emission standard that will take effect on 1 January 2021. The Espace keeps its diesel engine, but the 2.0 is scaled back a bit. From now on, the diesel engine delivers 190 hp and 400 Nm and will henceforth be known as the Blue dCi 190. As before, the block is always linked to a dual-clutch automatic transmission.

Both the five and seven-person versions of the Renault Espace are available with the Blue dCi 190 diesel engine. For the time being, it is the only machine on the new Espace price list. There is also little to choose from when it comes to versions. The Espace is currently only available as Initiale Paris stuffed with French opulence.

The starting price of the Renault Espace dCi 190 EDC Initiale Paris is € 72,990. That amount is for the five-person version. You will lose € 75,290 for the seven-seater.
