With its friendly design and narrow, high carriage, the Renault Twingo is not exactly the first car where you expect an ‘Urban Night’ version. Nevertheless, Renault hoists this rear-wheel drive city car with the rear engine in a special Urban Night costume that, contrary to what you might suspect, is not only available in black.
It has been almost three years since Renault gave the current Twingo a facelift. At the beginning of last year, Renault expanded the Twingo range with the fully electric version, which is now called E-Tech Electric, but it is now quiet in Twingoland. Renault is now bringing the electric city rascal to the attention again by lifting the friendly model as Urban Night on the podium, staring at the world.
The Twingo Urban Night is a special version based on the Intense trim level. Renault supplies the Urban Night version in the colors Blanc Cristal, Blanc Quartz, Gris Lunaire and Noir Etoilé and parks the car on 16-inch wheels in glossy black. The lower grille of Twingo Urban Night is decorated with white accents and the name of the version can be read on the side mirror caps, which are also in black. That’s not the only striking sticker work on the limited edition Twingo. We see the version name on the C-pillar and those who pay extra can also have ‘Urban Night’ on the rear doors and on the roof. In addition, the interior is also decorated with Urban Night stickers. We encounter them on the door sills, on the backs of the seats and on the dashboard. The standard equipment also includes the Easy Link multimedia system that supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. In addition, an induction charger and a reversing camera are also present.
The Renault Twingo Urban Night will be on the market at the end of this year, prices will follow in the run-up to that. By the way, enjoy the Twingo as long as you can, because the model does not seem to get a direct successor. Renault has also done its best in the photos. The brand serves the viewer, among other things, atmospheric black-and-white plates of the Twingo Urban Night, shot in Paris, complete with a trendy gentleman.
