Again first as S
The updated Audi Q8 is mainly presented by Audi as a ‘sub-topper’ SQ8. That happened when we were able to drive Audi’s refined SUV for the first time, but also now that the first prize is being announced.
Since the also updated Audi E-Tron is also called that, the sentence ‘I drive an Audi Q8’ has become slightly less impressive. Not that there is anything wrong with an electric Q8 E-tron, of course, but a regular Audi Q8 is and remains the most exclusive. It is and remains special that Audi uses the same name for these models, because the electric one actually has nothing to do with the real Q8.
The updated version of the fuel Q8 has now arrived on the Dutch price lists, although for the time being only as an S. The updated Audi SQ8 costs at least €196,519. A lot of money, but compared to the last price we could find for the pre-facelift version – €194,350 – the increase remains within reasonable limits. That’s a good thing, because the engine power of 507 hp is not tinkered with at all.
